Seeking to expand the offerings in knitwear, specifically Shetland sweaters, it was an easy decision to get in touch with legendary Scottish knitwear maker, Jamieson's. This family owned knitwear maker has been a leader in the trade since the early 1890's. What makes Jamieson's a touch more special than other Scottish knitwear is that Jamieson's spins their own yarns that are then used in the making of their own sweaters. To highlight this best, we teamed up with Jamieson's to produce this classic Fair Isle design in a color palette familiar to Junior's aesthetic. The simple earth tones and neutrals are easy to wear and along with the texture of Jamieson's Shetland yarns, it makes this Fair Isle a go-to item in our wardrobe from the moment temperatures dip in the Fall. Wearing a Shetland sweater is simple. Wear it over everything from a t-shirt to an oxford shirt, with chinos or jeans and under your favorite tweed sport coat or your navy blazer.
