Wearing tailored clothing in a seemingly always casual world can be intimidating. However, in our opinion, it is in ones best interest to wear a sport coat to certain life events. A quiet day in the office, a date night or a holiday party all come to mind. Plus, add in the functionality of wearing a coat that has pockets for our possesions and a layer to keep us warm, a sport coat checks a lot more boxes than just looking put together. To help bridge this gap between a properly tailored coat like our full made-to-measure offerings, we partnered with our clothing maker in the European Union to create the Junior's soft coat. Our soft coats are totally unconstructed with just a soft interlining to help keep shape, the soft coats are meant to be an easy toss on when heading out the door or a go-to when we're striving for more comfort than usual. This season, for the first ever soft coat, we're using 100% linen from esteemed French linen merchant, Maison Hellard. This subtle brown herringbone is just the right amount of personality and versatility that we wanted in the soft coat. We like to wear it as we would a sweater with everything from denim to canvas trousers and oxford cloth shirts. Toss it on and forget about it!
