The manufacturing factories of Novesta date back to the 1930s, when the famous shoemaker Jan Antonín Baťa opened his new factory in a small town in the middle of Slovakia - in Partizánske. Novesta is one of the last purely European brands to remain operating in its original premises, working by the original method on old-fashioned machines that require a great deal of precision and handwork.

Novesta products are designed to last as long as possible. Their traditional production method requires high quality materials, certified to the highest possible quality, combined with minimalist and timeless design, transcends fashion trends and allows for long-lasting use.

The signature shoe of Novesta, the Star Master still carries the unmistakeable chunky sole and vulcanisation marks that guarantee a true Novesta shoe. Every pair is handmade from the finest natural rubber and canvases. The style is recognizable anywhere in the world.

Novesta Star Master sneakers, to us, can be worn more ways than one might expect. Of course, they are a casual footwear choice but we like them with anything from canvas trousers to casual tailoring like cotton or linen.
