Teak Geelong Crewneck Sweater

It's comforting to see a familiar face in ones life and in our shop it's comforting to see familiar, time-tested, garments and knitwear like these Geelong lambswool sweaters. Made for Junior's in Scotland, we chose, this season, to take an iconic, yet familiar, knit like the fair isle and seek to make it a touch more approachable, plush and comforting. A simple method to achieve this goal was to opt for the unique and coveted Geelong lambswool. Geelong comes from specialized merino wool that is the a superfine fiber overall but more importantly, the first shearing of a young lamb resulting in the ultimate softness we can feel in these sweaters. Think of them as less hearty and scarthy but more refined while there's no loss in warmth, durability and versatility. The simple crewneck design makes these sweaters easily worn with Oxford cloth shirts and flannel trousers down to tees and corduroys on the weekends.
